France News

France is spending $5.1 billion dollars on nuclear power in Flamanville. 77% of that nuclear power provides France's electricity. Nuclear power is getting a second look for some countries like the United States of America and Britain. Germany is going to gradually get rid of their nuclear power by 2021. They might change their mind.
The wife of Nicolas Sarkozy, the president of France, Carla Sarkozy said she would serve as a ambassador to fight the terrible disease, AIDS. Carla is supporting the Global Fund to Fight AIDS. The Global Fund to Fight AIDS also includes Malaria and Tuberculosis. Carla states “I’ll do it as ambassador of the Global Fund, by using the exceptional people that my new position makes possible to meet.” In other words by being the ambassador she will meet new people that will help. She said that on Monday at a news conference. Also Carla Sarkozy's brother died from AIDS in 2006.
Many people are not going to go out of their hometown because the economy has gone bad and prices are being raised. For example places like Paris,France, London, Hawaii, Aruba and New York City. Paris is a very expensive place to be right now because the prices are very high up. Not many people can go there now because it is to expensive. Some people saved up to go to Paris and not many tourists were there. Also people in France can't go anywhere either because it costs to much money to go some where else.

Hi I'm Michael Osorio. I go to High Tech Middle Media Arts (HTMMA). One of our classes is multimedia, and for multimedia we have you choose a place on the Earth and i Chose France.

Our school (htmma) is in Point Loma, California. It's fun here in California, we get a lot of sun sometimes even during winter. You should come here sometime and try surfing, Sea World, Balboa, The Gas lamp, Old town, and Miramar Air Show.

so now i have some questions about you.

  1. What do you do for fun/free time?
  2. Do you play any sport, and what position?
  3. What Part of France do you live in?
  4. What's your favorite food
  5. Which one do you think is beater the Effile Tower or the Arc De Triumph

sincerely,
Mikko Osorio

Multimedia Homework Tuesday

If I were a boy living in France it would be great. You live in places that have amazing building structures like the Effie Tower and Arc de Triomphe. There’s also a lot of great food there.
Something bad about France is the dog poop. A lot of French people like dogs and like all dogs they poop. So it can go anywhere from streets to side walks it everywhere.
